Race Volunteer - General Helper where needed (Course Monitor / Setup / Cleanup)

Come out and help us provide an exceptional race experience for our runners & walkers! We need all kinds of help, from course directions, distributing snacks & water bottles, and cleanup! Bring a friend! Thank you!

Course Monitor - Mile Marker Spots

Course monitors will be assigned a location on the course to guide participants in the right direction. Please encourage and cheer on our runners & walkers! After the last participant passes through, bring the signage and course markers back to the Race Staging Ramada at the finish line. Thank you, we appreciate our volunteers!

Water Station Volunteer

Assist with providing water to participants during the race. Assist with setup of the water station. Your help will be needed to setup the table, water, and takedown after the final participant passes. Your cheering and encouragement will help our runners and walkers enjoy a memorable 5K!

Finish Line Volunteer

Assist in the chute to remove timing chips before participants exit the chute. When most participants have finished, assist with prize drawing.

Course Monitor - Traffic Control

Control and stop traffic from crossing the course during the race. This is needed at one parking lot entrance that crosses the course at the 2 Mile Mark

Race Announcer

Arrive by 7am to publicly announce race information, race start, awards, and prize drawings. You will supervise the music playing, announce finisher names as they cross, announce the awards presentation and prize drawings. T

Altadena NJHS Volunteer Team

Our Altadena NJHS volunteers were Rock Stars on the course last year! You will be assigned at role at check in assist with course setup. Most of you will be Course Monitors (in teams of 2-3), guiding and CHEERING on our runners, but we will also need you at the Finish Line and Water Station.
